About Us
When you first meet Edit, her distinctive accent will prompt the question “Where are you from?” She was born in Budapest, Hungary, where, although she did well in art at school and was drawn to design, she followed her mom’s advice and became an economist. Living in a variety of locations both in Europe and Canada has taught Edit to appreciate the richness of many cultures and their traditions, as well as sparked her organizing and moving skills. It has also given Edit ample opportunity to perfect her decorating, staging and designing skills, culminating in her designing and building her own home.
After settling in Canada she decided to go back to school to fulfill her dream and follow her passion. Her creativity, artistic talent for design, life experience, and the benefit of travel made it a natural choice for her to enrol in a 3 year Interior Design program at Niagara College, Welland. Her enthusiasm for handmade, hand painted tiles and mosaics encouraged her to open a studio. Here she both produced and taught her art as well as started her own kitchen and bath design business. Her work was featured both on the local cable network and in the local press. Capitalizing on her past studio experience she enjoys integrating customized mosaic pieces in her work. Over the past ten years she has specialized in kitchen and bath designs.
Being a proud member of NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Association) Edit follows the ethical principles promoted by the organization. As part of her ongoing professional learning plan, she is studying to achieve her NKBA certification.
While her clients’ budgets vary greatly, they share a common goal: to have a beautiful, efficient, well organized environment. Edit says “I never imagined how rewarding it would be to positively impact others’ lives professionally and personally”.

I loved all of your suggestions, and I am so happy that I trusted your judgement over mine … in the end, you were right and the details you identified as needing to be changed in the kitchen, really finished things off perfectly. Although we added an island, backsplash, lighting, crown moulding and new hardware, nothing looks like it was ‘added on’ … the cabinet stain and granite countertop are a perfect match to the existing, so it all looks fabulous! When we renovated our home last fall, Edit was a great asset in helping us pull our big project together. Her design skills and color coordination made our home unique and fabulous. Edit was able to design only one of its kind contemporary hickory kitchen with glass tile accents. She also carried the glass tile theme throughout the house. She also created a very funky pattern for our tile floor in the kitchen and the main entry. Edit also was instrumental in color selection and coordination. Edit’s use of space and accents enhance the overall atmosphere of our home. We get very many compliments on the uniqueness and freshness of our home, and we have Edit to thank for it. Andrew and I are so happy with our new bathroom! With Edit’s help, our first major renovation experience was incredible. We liked having options and choices with her expertise to help guide us. Her communication skills were amazing via email, phone or face to face, she was easy to get a hold of and we always knew what was coming next. Having Edit available to us while purchasing through Andex was such a bonus. She is so professional and lovely to work with! We love the Andex vanity. It’s gorgeous! Edit arranged our contractor and he was excellent. He was a hard worker and very skilled. He answered all of our questions and made the renovation process extremely smooth and timely.
